About the Instructor. Kate Burke. Kathryn (Kate) Burke has been involved in creative endeavors all her life, writing, publishing, teaching, and making art from her early school years to the present. She taught art and design in the US and Spain, writes for national and regional publications, has authored several books, and hosted her own public radio show in Colorado, Focus on the Arts. “Creative endeavors are a sort of self-directed art therapy for me,” she says. “It helps me stay balanced and appreciate all the beautiful things life has to offer.

This is an adult class, but we are willing to set one up a junior level workshop for children from 10-18 upon request. Parents could also participate in the junior level class.
