Description
Virginia Blackstock is a professional watercolorist whose paintings have been published in five Watercolor books,American Artist Magazine, The Artist Magazine and International Artists Magazine. She has had 65 Solo Shows of a month duration in galleries, art centers, and museums in four states. She painted a 17’ X 40’ mural honoring the Cattlemen of Delta County. She has taught Watercolor Workshops in Colorado, New Mexico, and Alabama.
Blackstock has earned the distinction of Signature Member in 13 National Watercolor Societies across the country and Master Painter of Western Colorado Watercolor Society, of which she was one of the founders. She has been listed in Who’s Who in American Art each year since 2004. In 2018 she was awarded the Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award.
